I love TennisP's educational thread. I think that is a MUST read for the day!

Good morning agors and agorettes! Smile

Well... no luck at bar bingo last night. No luck at ALL. LOL. I think someone asked yesterday if it was in a bar -- kind of, it's in the VFW bar.

I've been pretty active all week so today is a DO NOTHING day! At least that's what I have planned, you never know what might come up. Then tomorrow I really have to try to do some father's day shopping. I'm pretty broke so I'm thinking one of the beach stores that sells beachy type things.

Now on to my relaxing day Smile

I'm an Advocate

Good morning! Hope you all are doing good. Sorry you didn't win at Bingo last night Kevin. Bingo sounds fun. I wanna go. Our local VFW has it every Saturday night. Not sure I could handle it or not.

Well, I went to my appointments yesterday. Got up with extreme AA. Partly due to the actual appointments but mostly because Jeremy had to take his mom to the Dr. and my cousin told me he could take me to mine. He's a "safe person"..kind of but I was so scared I'd have a panic attack and he wouldn't know how to "help" me. Ahhh the mind plays lots of tricks. Anyway, we get up there and it was crazy. We went to where I was told to go and they told me I was at the wrong place after we sat there for 40 minutes. So I had to go to a different place. I was ready to go home by this time. BUT I went. Anyway, to make a long story short I do have extreme carpal tunnel in both hands. The nerve conduction study was wild..it didn't hurt for the most part, it just was really uncomfortable. I go for my surgery next Thursday. I'm so damn nervous. Oh and something weird happened right before I left yesterday. I was in the bathroom blow drying my hair and I come out and my eyes got these weird squigglyish lines at the top of them and it seemed like my vision was shutting down!! It scared me so bad. Lasted about 10 minutes or so. My aunt and uncle who are both RN's had just happened to pull up to bring me something for my cpap and I told them. She took my bp and my heart rate and both were good. So I have NO clue what happened. All I know is it was scary. I pray it was nothing bad. Then we got home around 4 and I took a "nap"..I slept until around 9:30 last night..then went right back to bed. I was just drained. I feel good today. Just going to do some dishes and vacuum later I guess. Sorry for such a long post here..but wanted to fill you all in.

Hi Silly, Kevin, Mimi and Aimee.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

Aimee, sorry to hear about your scare. It wasn't floaters by any chance was it? I know when anxiety/panic is high, a lot of people have experienced these. They explain as like little black dots in their vision? I sometimes get silver twinkly things in my vision lol..that is the best way i can describe them.

My day is going well. Got up, coloured my hair, had my mother in law come by with anniversary cards/presents, went to local asian restaurant for a buffet meal, which was AMAZING, and then went and did some grocery shopping for mother, before going to do to the school run.

Tired now Dizzy Smile Smile

Good Morning,

I have been busy cleaning the house. I did my walk, but didn't do the walk alone today because I wanted to go to the store and hubby had an appt today. Tomorrow is my daughter's graduation from middle school, so I won't be able to walk, unless it is in the evening, but I will be out and about. I hope you are Call okay. Take care and have a great day. Cheryl

You wanna know something weird, everyone? I slept. I mean it. I do not even remember needing to get up to stretch or pee. I slept through my demon cats trashing the bathroom. I didn't have any of my freaky dreams, that I remember. If I did, I do not care, because I didn't wake up trying to find out where my breath went and why my heart moved to my throat.

Beautiful.

Didn't hurt. I found it horrible painful. My neurologist complimented me on my pain tolerance. Of course it was a Navy reject machine sent to Fort Sill rather than the Army buying a decent new one. Took over 2 hours, because the Machine would take so long to do whatever it was supposed to do.

I have cubital tunnel. It is like carpel tunnel but is the condition which leads to essential tremor and I went when I was having bad tremors in my arms. after all that, the Neurologist told me certain behavioral changes, which are impossible, like not rolling over in my sleep, never putting pressure on my elbows or shoulders. Also, he said, go back to being a vegetarianism. It did help.

I'll stop knitting when you pry the needles from my cold dead hands!

Not much going on today.... Cleaning and dog bathing is about as exciting as my day is going to be so far Smile

No mula from bingo huh kevin? That stinks.... But at least you were out having fun Smile

Cheryl, have fun with your daughters graduation Smile

Aimee it does sound like floaters with your eyes. It can happen with high anxiety like Jane mentioned and before a migraine starts. I get it sometimes Sad

Hi Jane Smile happy anniversary to you and your hubby !
