hehehe. I like the vegetarianism alternatives. Ever since I heard about driving a stake through the head of a guy you just seduced in Sunday School I've liked stakes through heads. I also like the "burn it" kind, although am slightly worried. Historically the cleaver, mouthy woman were targeted first.

Well....me, oh my, Ohio, 'Angel',

P-l-e-a-s-e stop with the steak pictures, already; its STILL a week 'till SSDI, and EVERY nickel--like the farmer's daughter is spoken for; Ummmmmmmmmmmmmsteak. Daisy is starting to look good. A-r-r-g-h, there be LOTS of meat on them haunches. If only she but knew.

Never fear, though. I'd never, ever, ever, knosh on the Dais; however...her canned food is starting to look good. I mean really...'sellect cuts of beef in gravy; smells O.K. Betcha'd never know if it were served on mashed potatoes.

Honestly, the dog is eating better than I am.

But on $16.00 a month on food stamps, I'll be lucky to afford the mashed potatoes. On $16.00, I can--maybe--buy a ten pound bag of uncooked rice and a block of Velveta. Or...go to one of those, 'All-U-can-eat' places, and bring along Daisy and a sleeping bag. Oh well.

Hi all;

Happy Friday to all. I'm just waking up after another flustering day in a bad week.

I scrolled all the way back and read what people said in order to catch up.

First of all, I want to thank people for being nice to me yesterday. That's more than I can say for a troublesome family member. I want to hug you all.

Next, I'm still embarrassed about the multiple posts yesterday. I don't feel as bad as I did yesterday about it, but I still have the red face.

During the course of sleep, I had one recurring, and one brand new nightmare. The new nightmare had a storyline plot to it, and if I had been watching it on TV I would have wanted to see how it all turned out. Just how do sleeping minds come up with this crap???

Conn & Silly, I ate venison once in my life. Only once. Afterwards, a root canal seems more appealing.

I'm straying a bit, but my father once told me that he saw O.J. Simpson play for the Buffalo Bills. Usually, football players are known for their life highlights while playing football. Little did we know.

Silly, I loved the farmer joke. I will retell it at first chance. Congrats on 20K posts! Smile

Angel & Gurley, I think hunting is disgusting, and I don't have a high opinion of Ted Nugent, either as an outdoorsman or as a musician.

Silly, re: chickens, another Dogbert line: How many good things come out of a chicken's butt?

I see that healthy foods came up as a topic. I just want to briefly say that a few years ago, I asked some religious-types about their denominations' dietary policies, and I got some great information from them without them trying to convert me or to come to church. They were all very nice.

7th Day Adventists and LDS (Mormons) have the lowest cancer rates of all major religions. Orthodox Jews are also generally very healthy people.

All of them would be happy to share dietary information with you if you're so inclined, without doing a sales pitch.

Fidget, did somebody say "dickhead"?
