Morning Mimi!!! And all you other sleepy-heads out there Wink

Ima staying IN too!!! It's finally quiet here....alone at last!! My daughter slept over at a friends so she's not here, the hubby is at work and my son at my moms Laughing

I did something amazing for the new year: I told my mom that for next year we need our holidays to "ourselves"!!!!!!!!!!! I just couldn't take it anymore: she monopolizes our Thanksgivings, Chrismtases and Easters every year. For the first time since we had our daughter almost 15 years ago we are going to celebrate our holidays as our own family doing it the way WE want to and not being stressed out by her...OK, ME not being stressed out by her. Heck I feel I deserve it.

Sooo time to get some decaf coffee in me: Woke up headachy and dry eyes..weird; feels like I was crying a whole bunch or something but I havent. Must be the change in weather again, its finally chilly Wink

No other plans than to decide what to ORDER for dinner because guess what? I'm not cooking either!! Tongue

Hugs everyone!!!

Good morning, dear Mimi,

It is now 10:21 AM, and although I did get up early, the morning has flown by, with only just a little accomplished.

As you know ( since, I think I must have told everyone by now ) I am trying to 'ghetto' remodel my home; not easy, when--at present, for example, I hvae only $89.00 in the bank, and that has to last me until the 3rd.

However, when the 'workmen' arrived to put down floors, add crown molding, and paint the walls, everything accumulated from the past thirty years was hastily wrapped, and then shoved into unnumbered boxes, and so, while the living room looks at least somewhat pristine....all that dreck tsunamied its way to my teo, walk-in closets ( well dear, they ain't 'walk-in now ! Tongue At best, they have become, 'crawl-through' closets, and, today's chore was to try to find one of three heating pads I thought I had to loan a neighbor who hurt her back. ;(

Never mind, that--in trying to hoist heavy boxes from the shelves and move stuff around, I have since killed MY back...and still cannot find those dame heating pads. Sick

I did--however--come across a LOT of neat, forgotten stuff, most of which I can no longer save, for want of shelves and room; and as an hoarder, and a pack-rat of Olympian nature, whenever I even try to look for something in a box,I--of course--have to stop to read eavery GD receipt and piece of paper.

I did find most of the rest of my Christmas decorations scattered among junk, and also found my resin zebra family that I bought to go with my decor; they safely guard a shelf in the bathroom;and, I found four more sraw-made angels, and a long-ago photo of my Dad when he was five. And, the black-laquered jewelry box my dad gave my mom when he came home from Korea, in 1961. Why, goodness me...that's half a centurey ago. Yeeps. :O

So now my back is broken, I have only one cigarette left, as I've asked the neighbor twice to please get me a carton, for which I would pay her+ gas, even though the convenience store is just a mile either way from my home; I shall not ask her again.

( Damm---it ! )

Yet....funny when THEY want something..boy do they know the path to my front door.

This is when being both broke, and Agoraphobic, plus, all the rest, is a B-i-t-c-h !, for, if I had a car, and could get out, all of this wuld be a non-issue; I really, really DETEST to have to depend on the whims of normal 'peeps', though--truth be told, dear, THEY are squirrely too, to the max.

And....OH MY GOD, Mimi, I think I'd just about kill right now for an huge breakfast of eggs, bacon, toast, and fried potatoes, all lathed in butter, and probably a bazillion calories ( I DON'T CARE ! ). Just the imaged smell of that AND fresh coffee, makes me want to just lie down and die. What bliss ! What Heaven ! What cholesterol !

W-h-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e. SmileSmile Smile Or IS there an emoticon for bliss ?

Hope, Mimi, that you are feeling much better, and that you have a g-r-e-a-t day ! Just like the tiger on the Frosted Flakes Box.

all regards,

'Zahc'

Hi, CrissyL ! Smile

'morning, dear; I did not see you while I was writing my morning's tirade; forgive me for being such a Grump, but, I did call-again my neighbor, and, yes, she will stop by that convenience store to get me a carton of cigs ( as I am now OUT ), a quart of milk for my coffee, and, just maybe a gallon of iced tea....for $20.00, with a check I am supposed to write so she can deposit it before.

So...guess what ? I thought I had $89.00 in checking, but upon calling them now find out I have but a single dollar left in checking; so, knowing I need at least twenty dollars ( or, as we usd to call the, one "Fast Jackson", considering just how easy they are to spend ), I just vaporized my two, small, savings accounts, to bring my balance up to $36.00, of which. now, $20.00 will go to my neighbor. Sad

And my check doesn't come in until the 3rd. I will gladly leave it up to you to count the days.

And, in passing, did I say I HATE THIS ? Really, Roy should create an emoticon for 'WTF?', or, more simply, 'Kiss my +++'.

Yet, my dear Mimi, still at the edge of my nose, I can--with eyes closed--just faintly smell that wonderously large platter of fried ham and eggs. ( Zahc cries ).

Please take care, guys, and have a great day, anyway !!!!! Tongue

all regards,

'Zahc'

Awe...Good morning Zach!! It's ok, and I'm soo sorry for what you're going through Sad Being broke really does suck...being an agor makes being poor part of the territory.

LOL, I agree, we need a WTF emoticon!! haha!!

I hope your day improves and I'm glad your neighbor did come through for you...yea, interesting how people "remember" you when they need something but "forget" you when you need them....

Sending you some huge virtual HUGS!! Hang in there!!!!

When I stop being lazy I'm going to re-size my pictures from my Savannah trip so I can share them here Wink

Still have my headache and when I went to make coffee, realized my mom and/or step dad had used up all my good coffee creamer (I save for special because I don't drink coffee that often). So yea, I feel like my kitchen has been "raped" lol. They really should have at least replaced it with a new box before leaving Sad That stuff is expensive!!

Wow, all's pretty quiet today. Hope everyone is enjoying the day <3

good afternoon everyone. I'm contemplating not attending a concert in May. still a while from now but I'm scared, especially since I had a mini panic attack just yesterday while at the car shop. my mouth got dry and I had to beg my mom to ask the mechanics if they had water. thankfully they did . Sad Sad Sad now I know to always carry water with me. that's going to be on my grocery list .

Hey everyone.....

I'm having a major crappy day Sad So many things all piled up at once!

Tina, GO to the concert.... if you panic then just leave, but don't decide not to go for fear of what hasn't happened yet Smile And YES always keep a bottle of water with you.... they have the small 10 oz bottles that are easy to carry around or even shove in a purse or whatever....

Crissy, don't you just hate when someone uses the last of something you really want or need ???? grrrrrrr Angry

Mimiiiiiiiiiiiiii , Tongue HI !!!!!!!

Zahc, sorry you're having a rough day.... back ache from trying to help someone else with a back ache.. huh... sounds like my life Ermm And being broke sucks!!!! I'm glad your neighbor is going to get the things you need from the store.... Even though you're having a rough day, you made me smile... you have a sense of humor even through the junk life throws our way.... I love it Grin

It looks like I'm in very good company here.

Still in bed.

Did get up and took a bath and crawled right back in bed.

It's just one of those days.

It kind of makes me feel better to see I'm not the only one.

4 more days of school-yipee!
