MDJunction to me

tomboykimi"What MD Junction means to me is a place where i can feel like im not alone. As someone with something as rare as hydrocephalus, it feels like im the only one in the world with it. When i came to MD, its like everyone has it. It doesnt feel like im alone. And that people need to hold up a sign to say what i have, because people know. And they understand. I can get questions answered from people who have been through it rather than from doctors or people who only can tell you from a physical standpoint. THat is what MD junction means to me." Good afternoon everybody. It's a gloomy, cloudy day in Denver. It wouldn't be so bad if it were raining or snowing.
Staying clean is like staying alive.
You either are, or you aren't.

I've got a full six-pack...I'm just missing the plastic thingie that holds it all together!

I'm a few tacos short of a combo meal.

I'm not a complete idiot...some parts are missing!

I'm not weird. My normal is just different than your normal.

Friends are like BOOBS. Some are real, and some are not.

Hey Denvercowboy...

Zahc, feel free to post whatever you're feeling Smile We all have our crab a$$ days now and then.

I've been outside enjoying the sunshine today.. It's sunny and in the 50's so I'm enjoying it while I can. I'm sure snow isn't too far away.

Hope eveyone's having a fun Saturday Smile

Hi, 'DenverCowboy'; 'Conn65', and,'devlin', ( or, would you prefer Neil ? ),

Thank you all so much for your most kind welcome.

Dear 'conn65', In February, this year, I decided to '86' 26 years of near-complete samness, and valiantly ( on SSDI, and the fumes of a couple of cashed-in retirement bonds ), remodel my humble abode ( a 32 year old double-wide, mobile home ).

It all began with the stuff as dreams are made, but, on the cheap.

I bought online clearance, floor models, leftovers, deep discounts, and by bargain catalogue to try to acheive the look I wanted.

Trust me..the 'before' shots were terrible; not one thing had changed in 26 years.

Gradually, though, the house is coming together at last, except for a few'here' and 'theres', and repurposing art to hang. Still, it has been an experience.

I like elements of feng shui, preferring a kind of 'asymetrical balance.

Tomorrow, when my savvy cousin comes over to visit, I had my C,N.A. take a few picture with her phone, and may try to have him scan them to my Profile.

Zahc... why don't you write a book. You love to write, you can write, so why not write a novel?

Right now...its in a kind of 'Victorian-post-Apokalyptic/museum-roped/ steampunk' style. What'cha think ?????
