I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I have been dealing with agoraphobia for the last couple of years not knowing what it was. I just thought I was dealing with panic attacks. I had always had those. Everything else I had..I thought was something different. It wasn't until recently when I was reading a book that was recomended to me (From Panic to Power- Lucinda Bassett) that I realized I had been suffering from this. I am hoping that with help from other people going through the same thing that I might be able to work through this. I'm about to embark on a new saga in my life and I really don't want it to fail because of agoraphobia.

Hi and welcome. I also did not know I had agoraphobia for years. I had panic attacks and retreated to my home. I had no clue there was a name for this avoidance. Finding out it is a condition and that so many great people share it has helped me a lot. I hope you stick around. We are all here for one another and we all get it.
