As of last night, I have a whole new schedule to follow during the weekdays. Long story short, my baby sister has been on a bad path for the past 2 years and has left her children to live with my mother. Makenzie is 11, matthew is 8, and Maycie is 2. My mother works from 5am to 2pm and needs help with them. She had to fire their babysitter yesterday, and I was called upon for help. I dont mind, but Im a little nervous about what it entails. Usually, my kids get on the bus at home and I have no reason to leave the house. But my niece and nephew go to a different school and Ill have to drive them every morning. Mom will drop them off at 5 and I will get them to school by 8. This is a good thing! I have no choice but to have to get out every morning. My hope is that everyday will become easier. There's 4 weeks of school left and once school is out they will all be with me for the day every weekday. My kids are stoked Their cousins will be here to play with them alot. In a way, its perfect for me. Ill be paid to do something that still lets me be home. And my nieces and nephew have had a rough time with their mother acting the way she is. My sister used to be a good girl, but thats what drugs will do to ya. I miss her and worry about her constantly. But all i can do is be here for the kids, I am their Naynay as they call me and I am looking forward to giving them the love and care that they deserve. If all I can do is send them to school with a full belly and a kiss from their Naynay, its more than their mother is giving them these days. My oldest niece is infatuated with me, we have a special bond....now she is borrowing my jewelry and walking my kids out to the school bus. I think she needs me anyway, so this will be good for her (and me i think). So.....gone are the days of hiding out! One trip to drop off some kids at school may not be a challenge to some, but as you all know...it can be for us. I have the other 4 kids off to school, but the 2yr ld will be here with me until 2 everyday. She's a hoot, a crazy funny kid. I may nevr be bored again with all this and trying to redo the new house. Thats what's new in my world...best wishes and much love to all

I LOVE little kids...they make me smile. I tell my friend Trish and her husband 'can't you just go out for a couple of hours so I can play with the girls'...I can be VERY childish...and boy do they crack me up!

Shelby is a kid magnet, as all kids adore her. Mikayla wouldn't even come to me, she ran to Shelby for comfort.

Well, I don't think you'll be posting much on getting the house decorated

You will do awesome because you are very positive...just remember, relax and breathe!
