As many of you know, I had my thyroid removed earlier this year.

I feel really different now including calmer, less anxiety, and less emotional.

I wanted to share some information with you and some Youtube videos I have found.

This first video advertises for books, but has information that I liked. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rXqlSxhZBaI

WoW Silly thanks!!! this was great info for me.

I just had a blood test and will be going to my brain dead PCP in July ;(

He will tell me I need to do this or I need to stop doing that and when I tell him hey dude my thyroid is playing dead cut me some slack......

He gets his nose so out of whack and trys to tell me what my blood test say and I tell him he is not seeing the whole picture and refuses to give me a referral to see an endocrinologist who does see the whole picture!!

But thanks for all these videos as they really put new thoughts in my head to fight the dead brain PCP I'm seeing.

Being Agor is almost as bad as the last job I had!!!
I really have to work at it 24/7 and don't get paid either.

Why did you have yours taken out?

That is awesome that it has affected you so positively. I might think about that for myself Smile

I had a goiter that was pushing on my esophagus and making swallowing and stuff hard. It would never go away they said. It couldn't be killed with radiation because the nodules wouldn't adsorb the dye.

thyroidectomys before in her life. Makes you wonder huh?

Mine was fluctuating up and down in levels. It was hyper when I got my blood test done before the operation.. now it's a bit hypo.. so I feel really sluggish sometimes, but calmer! LOL

Oh Silly I just now saw your question from what I see on my last blood test I'm borderline hyperthroid.....That's because I started taking that Dietary Supplement of Iodine and Iodide and will probably have my thyroid meds dropped down to almost nothing.

I will never tell him what I'm taking as he is such an ass and know it all and I feel better and am starting to lose weight.

I noticed that right before I got Phoenix and now I'm forced to walk him since his surgery and next Tuesday I get to really have fun running with him as he will be ok to do that.

I actually had a total stranger at the pharmacy tell me he could not believe my age and dang girl he was sooooo cute too. Oh well forget that but just having someone actually notice is a good thing as Martha would say.
