Tennis,

I do still hesitate when I have to try a new street. Right now I am walking the same streets over and over. I am not sure when I will add a new one. I have always been a walker, so I feel better walking than in the car. There are days when I do feel panicky walking, but I push myself and know I am not going to die, just feel very uncomfortable for a while. I wish the same was true with shopping, I just can't do it without the right meds and in my state they don't give out the meds that help me the most.

I hesitate a lot too. I get to the corner and stand there awkwardly for a minute, then continue... I don't think I'm going to be able to do my exposure today. It is really raining hard here... I hate to say that cause it sounds like I'm using it as an excuse- truth be told I really want to go for a walk.. but it doesn't look like it's going to let up anytime soon. Sad

Does the heavy rain stop you?

Light rain isn't that bad.. but this constant, heavy rain... not so good. Sad It doesn't look like it's going to let up any time soon.

I went to three stores without having to take xanax and walked. There was some minor panic, but I am so happy. I did not feel the need to run out of the store. Cheryl

Yes we went to the bank, to the old house, and now we're getting daughter a haircut,

My anxiety is always the highest when they first start the cut cause it feels like we're just stuck!Dizzy

ugh... the dreaded hair cut. I still have issues with that. My son has arranged for a cosmetologist friend to come to my house to cut my hair. I hate that trapped feeling of the first cut and knowing I'm stuck there until they finish... It's still odd to me that I have this issue.. I used to love having my hair done and would sit hours for a cut, color, condition.... Oh how times change.

I have something new for me.... since the group has been having a discussion about safe people.... The other day I went out for exposure... not alone Wink .. But I went to a store to buy a few things. Instead of having the person who was with me go in while I shopped, I had them wait in the car. I know that doesn't sound like a big deal to some, but I ALWAYS take someone in the stores with me. So that was a big accomplishment for me Smile
