That's an interesting perpective...I don't know what it would take for me to change. I have the smoking thing, the eating thing, the agoraphobic thing. I can't seem to give any of them up. I don't know what it is that would finally push me over the edge and make me stop doing any of them. I'll definately have to think about that one. HUGS

Nothing. I have horrible balance, two left feet, biggest clutz in the world. Wouldn't do it because I wouldn't survive to enjoy whatever was the reward. I mean well... I guess I'd try if a family member was being held hostage or something. But would they still be released if I crashed?

Very thought provoking question! Made me think about how I stayed for Hurricane Katrina cuz I was too scared to evacuate but I didn't hestitate to go to the hospital when I cut my leg with a chain saw days later. When you are certain you must leave your safe zone or die, you choose to live...your survival instinct kicks in. I did things the days following the storm that I would never do under normal circumstances. Hopefully I learned something from that and get my ass out of town next time. LOL Smile

Great question!

For me, the only thing that would get me to walk that tight rope would be if one of my kids or my husband were in danger some how.
