Go to page 2, it's the one with "Al, Tammy, and Jodi" I saw it last night...it's interesting when they do the exposures I'm sure you can relate to their feelings and feel encouraged at what they can do afterwards!!!

Tennis I have watched the whole video. Very powerful. I wish I could make it over that hard part in panic and expand my zone. Thank you very much for sharing.

No problem...someone else mentioned the show and I was interested in seeing other people have the symptoms and listening to the therapists as if I was in their shoes....it really helps to hear it a lot that the symptoms do come down the less you fear them....

I think interoceptive exposure is so important where you practice bringing on the sensations you're afraid of so if you do feel them when you didn't bring them on purpose you can be like "hey I notice that sensation but it doesnt scare it anymore like it used to, I know I'm totally OKAY"

You will feel better when you face something , calm yourself by staying there , and see that the irrational fear that many people who have the problem have DOESN'T happen....

I went out last night for the first time in 2 months and I was totally fine maybe a 2-3/5 but I wasn't panicking....I did a drive thru as passenger but man o man I hadnt left since November in the car somewhere and my drive thru chicken meal was so good I was really proud of myself for facing something and saying I may be anxious but whne I'm done I will feel proud of myself for going instead of another night of staying home.

Watching the show on the Green Berets on Netflix was also a good idea seeing how hard those guys have to train/audition and it makes what we have to do seem a little easier...

Tennis, I like your post about your chicken take-out Smile it reminds me of things I've done in the past as well- I think that one thing I learned along the way, which totally shocked me, was the fact that when I allowed myself to be "flooded" (the thought alone is really frightening!), I discovered such odd sensations-one of them being that I could actually feel the adrenaline in my tongue (I know, that sounds completely nuts but...it completely sticks in my mind, because it was so odd, lol!)-and the realization that, wow, the panic really does have a limit. I learned through a place I went to for agoraphobia many years ago, that when a panic attack hits, subconsciously we're terrified that another one will hit, and it causes us to have "second panic"- never totally got this under control, but sometimes it helps to just know what's happening!
