I am normally outgoing kind of person but I could tell I felt nervous this morning while waiting for and then talking to a dog walker who came over to meet her. I told her I will be home during the week we need someone to walk our dog etc and take.out the garbage etc...I told her why we needed to hire someone amd I felt embarassed or shy etc saying I would normally be doing all these things but have agoraphobia that im working on overcoming but i just dont go far outside and i still havent gone outside without someone home....I look forward to doing everything again and not having someone.do someth for me

I do get very shy talking to people, but that's one of the main problems of my agoraphobia. Social anxiety is definitely a big part of it. Once I'm comfortable with someone, and I'm in a comfortable place, things are okay, but strangers I avoid like the plague.

^What he said. I'd pay good money to be able to carry on a meaningful conversation with ANYBODY.

Im just shy when I am talking about things I am not proud about esp when it isnt something.most people umderstand. Anyways she didnt act differently or ask anything its just hard to say I need some help with chores oitside and Im noy physically disabled so I feel weird explaining that but I say I am working on it.
