I haven't been on much because of things that havebeen going on. Just wanted to let you know my husband had a massive stroke Dec. 23 and has lost the complete use of his left side. Hospice services have been ordered for him. I don't have long to be with him. It is difficult feeling so helpLess to help him. I care for him myself and others come in (such as a RN, LNA, social worker, and Pastor) aS needed. I wish I could tAke his pain away. I feel like I am losing my whole world.

Oh Pam... I am so very, very sorry! There is nothing I can say that will comfort you right now, nothing I can say that will make you feel any better. What a tragedy you are facing. I will not even tell you to be strong, just to get through this and to hold your husband tight. The best thing you can do for him right now is just to be with him, as hard as it all is to watch. He is still here, you still have him.

I WILL recommend a book for you. I know you are not in a mood to read but it is something that brought me some comfort after losing loved ones. Who knows about the mysteries of life and death? Who knows....

Please know my heart breaks for you both and know we are here for you always.

Pam,

I am sorry that you are having to go through this trial. It seems that you have been able to get things set up for him so that he is comfortable and at home. Take all of the time that you need and keep us informed.

Pam- SO SO Sorry to hear what you are going through. I lost a fiance to a car accident several years ago so I can relate "somewhat" to what you are going through. I know it's not the same as losing a spouse but grief is grief and we have all been there. Please let me know if there is something I can do to help you. I also have a book you might want to read as well. Here is a link to it. It's a short to the point book that I read several times right after my tragedy!!!!

Good luck to you and let us know if we can help!
