I came across this number last night and I wanted to share it with you. It's an anxiety help line- sort of like those suicide hotlines but it's for anxiety. I haven't called yet so I couldn't tell you what happens but here ya go!

888- 826-9438

If anyone calls, post and let us know what happens. Smile

Keep smiling!

OKAY now somebody needs to call and post some more info about it.. calling a random number with no other info of what to expect, EEPS in itself! I've been wanting to find somewhere to call, so I'm sure this would be useful sometimes. But how about a Rent-a-Safe-Person, who ya gonna call for that? LOL

This is a suicide prevention hotline number. I called, talked to a really nice lady. She did say that you CAN absolutely call if you are in a panic situation, just not for mild anxiety. They will help talk you through it.

When you call you will get several options, you will press 1 twice to get to a person and be warned multiple times to call 911 or seek immediate medical help if you are suicidal.

It is a 24 hour 7/365 hotline as well, so at 3am and you are panicking and can't seem to get it to go away you CAN call them for someone to talk to!

I also have to say out of the numerous hotlines I have called they answered quicker, were nicer and seemed to be better equipped to handle situations.
