MDJunction to me

jackie1979"MDJ is like a family to me where I can talk to others who understand how I feel. I can as group leader help others and support them and be there
for each other for the good and bad times. MDJ has helped me come to terms with my disability and be able to live my life and be positive. I just hope that I can be there for others like my friends on MDJ have been here for me.

I take effexor xr 150mg once a day and buspar twice a day 20mg. I have xanax but only take it on a as need basis when I can not control it any longer. For the other times I take a few 12oz beer, prefer miller lite but what is on sale is good.

Xanax 4.5 mg daily for years. I have tried every other kind it was the only thing that worked to any degree
In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life. It goes on.

Who is tciwixb? why are we telling him what drugs we are on and why does he need to know?

I applied for a job and because they somehow found out what drugs I was on they felt I was not healthy or stable enough to work for their company!!!!????

I never discuss my meds it's my business and my MD's "Because I'm not stable enough to work anywhere I now am wondering where they got this info.....????

They also got their butts kicked by my attorney for discrimination!!!

They tried to offer me a job later and I refused!!! They were the ones too unstable to understand mental health issues!!!

What if I was on insulin? What if I had seizures and was on those meds?

I'm sick of society picking and choosing who is allowed to have a life because we need to be on medications!!!!

Sorry I'm wondering why we even tell each other?????

I learned my lesson and now am so f-in depressed because I can't get a job......

I have stopped posting here and many other places because I'm too damn depressed to even discuss why.

This agor is pissed!!!! Good thing I'm a GL on anger managment huh? Ermm

Being Agor is almost as bad as the last job I had!!!
I really have to work at it 24/7 and don't get paid either.

Yes you all are right it is none of my business, however, this is a support group and you wish to share you know what to do. I take lithium 900mg, lamictal 400mg, clonazepam 3mg, Abilify 10mg, Zoloft 300mg, all for Bipolar Disorder Type I. Sharing medical information probably has a one out of 1000 chance for anybody, but for that 1000 person he may feel like he is walking on water. Personally I hate talking about meds. I hate talking about mental illness. I want to talk about what it takes for recovery. or lets talk about dogs and ponies.Cheerful

I'm an Advocate

I don't mind discussing what meds I am on. I am not ashamed but then again, I am not job hunting. Fidget, hon, if they don't want to accept that you have a disorder and are medicated for it so that you can be stable then you probably don't want to work there anyway. I hope you feel better. Kissing

I am taking 300mg Effexor XR, 200mg Lamictal (which I don't think is enough), 20mg of Abilify and .5-2mg clonozapam, as needed.

My new pdoc sucks and will not renew my script for the clono. They do not like prescribing it for long term use. Oh well. The effexor helps control the anxiety so I am not completely suffering.

Blessings, strength and courage to all.
Angela
