MDJunction to me

liamacker"The part of my recovery plan that I would say made up 80% is MDJ. I suffered a lot prior to finding MDJ, felt alone and had no one to talk to who really understood me. In the Bipolar Group I found like minded individuals who I could relate to and who offered support to me when I needed it. As I recovered, I could then offer support to them which gave me a good feeling about myself. I have met some great people here who I would class as good friends and know I would still be in the slump I was in without them. Now I am stable, I know that MDJ plays an important part in keeping me that way. Thank you MDJ for being there for us all and making us no longer feel alone." (liamacker)

Hey everyone! I havent posted on here for a while. I've been coming to read the forums though, just havent posted for a long time. Today I decided to go for a walk by myself, and I did it and felt ok!! Smile Then I got even more courage and decided to DRIVE somewhere BY MYSELF!!!!! This is huge for me! I havent drove by myself for months, almost a year really! So I did it. I drove today, and not just around my neighborhood but the MAIN street, which is always super busy! I even got stopped at a red light, and felt ALOT of anxiety but I told myself I was ok, and that I could do it, I drove to my aunts house and stayed there for about an hour, even that is huge, because Im NEVER away from my grandma, shes my safe person. So today has been GREAT Im super excited!!!! Oh and I even stopped at Tim Hortons and got me and my grandma a coffee on the way home!!! YAY!!! Smile
