So I jinxed myself with that diary post this morning. Totally jinxed MYSELF.

FML.

Today started early after not getting to sleep until around 6, up at 7. Money issues. So I spent all morning fixing that for the most part, got home and the FREAKING ELECTRIC is off. Yes. They turned it off in this heat.

Craptacular to Craptastic and then on to well... just FML. I can't pay the bill until Thursday, same day the kids start back to school. So what will I do till then? Who effin knows. I have a little battery power left and im jacking the neighbors wifi.

Never jinx yourself. It really really freaking sucks.

Check with your local churches and such. They don't care what religion, if any, you are. I have had St. Vincent de Paul pay my water bill more than once and there is a place here called Hill Country Ministries that had paid my electric bill before. I don't know about you but the number for resources around in my neck of the woods is 211. Check with your electric company too. Sometimes they have lists of resources too. You gotta have a/c with little ones. Elderly and pets too.

Let us/me know what you find out. The best of luck to you and you did NOT jinx yourself.

Blessings, strength and courage to all.

Yea I have heard of people getting help from the Salvation Army, Good Will, and St. Vince de Paul before for one time payments of bills. Also call health and human services for your county they may have some other ideas. There is a way that this can be solved today without too much work on your part. I had a friend that just had to go in, explain why it wasn't paid and show them the bill and the wrote the check right out to the electric company for her to take right in.

Yea let us know! Good luck, there is a solution!

Call your local welfare office and ask about energy assistance, they may get it turned back on today if they know you have kids.

thanks you guys. I really don't NEED financial assistance, I need a more responsible partner. Its a long story.

I am at my moms with full internet access and air. My kids are with their dad and the wee one is with her grandma. Its actually pretty nice out today, so the animals are ok for now, if it gets hotter the next few days I will take them to my In Laws.
