MDJunction to me

jayna01"My name is Jayna and I wanted to take this opportunity to say how much MDJunction has meant to me. I always felt so alone before I joined in April of 2012. I felt like there wasn't anyone that really cared about me and what I was going through. I felt like there was no one that would truly listen to me in what I was feeling. Nobody was there for me. That is before I found MDJ!

I have found and met such good people on these forums. I never ever knew there were such compassionate people before MDJ. It's also nice to know that I can come here anytime and get support for what I am feeling. I feel like I have met some wonderful life long friends. It is also an outlet for me to try and help other people that are hurting. It gives me a good feeling inside and gives me self confidence in helping other people.

I hope MDJ will be as good for you as it has been for me! Many Blessings and Much love.

I am very proud of myself today! With the help of my Lord Jesus Christ, I went to church for the first time since I was 20 or so. I even had communion. When I first went it I had a panic attack and came back outside. Then I gave myself a pep talk and went in and stood in the back. Then I got really brave and move up to sit in a chair. Then I went to the front (in a line mind you) to get communion with my nephew! It was wonderful. I faced down my fears and got to do what I wanted to do!!!With the Lord by my side I can accomplish anything!

Thank You Anna, I am starting to believe this was all for the best. I got my Psch. Appointment in the mail Friday. The appointment is for April 19 th, so I have time to talk myself into it! And the doc is right up the street from here so that is good too! Hugs to you.

My latest panic attack victory was today (well I guess yesterday). I got to my parents house and everyone was already there crowding in the living room. I went into the kitchen by my mom and my boyfriend followed and we sat at the table. Soon some other family members came in too. I was talking to my boyfriend and I started feeling my heart race and feeling sweaty and everything started to seem so unreal. I no longer could hear what my boyfriend was saying to me. He started looking at me strangely. I took a deep breath and said hold on. I sat there for about 10 minutes and just kept breathing and reminding myself that this was just panic and I would be ok. Just tried to float with it. It passed, I made no scene and was able to eat dinner with the family. My stomach was terrible after that and I was exhausted so we left shortly after dinner. Last to arrive and first to leave but oh well. I came home and took a two hour nap. Hence I am now up and unable to sleep but I just felt so exhausted and couldn't stay awake.

JoJ0 I know what you mean. After church I was tired and just sat in a chair for a long while zoning out. Hopefully that also gets better with time though!! That is what I am praying for anyway, No crash after being brave and courageous!! Just feeling good and healthy! That day will come soon,I know it will and it will for you too JOJo just keep getting out there ok? God Bless the Agors!

Congrats To Rea and JoJo... You both should be very proud of what you accomplished. Feeling the fear and not letting it dictate how you react is a very positive step!

I love popping in and reading this thread, it reminds me that everyday on different parts of the planet people are beating agoraphobia one battle at a time Smile
