MDJunction to me

ITeach91"MD Junction has been a lifeline to me. The support and information I receive from group members is so important for me to maintain a good quality of life. I struggled with a diagnosis of adrenal insufficiency and did not know where to turn, but then I found MD and it has been one of the most important tools to help me to enjoy my life and stay as healthy as possible. We really are stronger together than we could ever be alone." (ITeach91)

One step in my life.

I own Agoraphobia, it is what I say it is to me.

I will make no attempt to conform to any other description.

I will allow myself to have all emotions without reservation of judgment.

I will honestly disclose to myself and others this description at my will without reservation of judgment.

I will confront all issues head on. It may be painful and I may fall. But, I will not turn away from myself.

I will talk about, think about, and try conventional and unconventional approaches at my will and I will not apologize for doing so.

I will attempt to think about how to do this and reevaluate how I am doing this every day.

I will from today forward move to honestly attempt to resolve issues related and guard against dwelling on them.

I will allow myself the grace to fall and have setbacks.

I will move forward one step at a time each day. Each step will be what I decide it will be.

However, I will take "one new" step every day of my life.

I will reach out offer and explain this list to others.

This is not a cure.

This is not a program.

This is not a system.

This is not a solution.

This is not an idea.

This is not a recommendation.

This is not a poem.

This is not a motto.

This "IS" one step in my life today.

I hope you find the peace in your day that you are looking for.
Best Regards
Bret

Awesome Bret, I love your attitude and I am borrowing it! OK, I am taking it, not like I can give it back, right?

I nominate this thread to be 'pinned'! It is a great affirmation and I am printing it out to carry with me!

Thank you, Bret!

Well put! It seems like a good set of rules to live by so that we can better learn to live with our condition. Thanks for the share Bret!

This is one of my favorite posts. I actually typed this out and laminated it. I keep it in my wallet and look at it when I start to get nervous.
