Larry found this last-year's nest in our forsythia. It is so small, it seems all there would be room for was 2 fledgling hummers. We thought it might be.

I'll watch this bush very carefully this spring to see if humming birds build there. What fun it would be to photograph the eggs and babies!

It's hard to see, but is at the bottom left. You can see my forsythia is budded, but it is COLD today - upper 30's.

Do you have any finch there? We have finch that come every year and nest in one of my hanging plants and their nests are very small. They usually lay 4 little bitty blue eggs.

Yes we have house finch, purple finch and gold finch. That's a possibility too. Can't wait to see what kind of bird builds there. I'm hoping for humming bird
