Hi everyone. I just received some medical records last night and wow. Eye opening.
I had a cortisol of 6.1 at around 10am-ish even though I took 10mg of prednisone that morning.
I felt like I was underdosed but I wasn't sure.
This also gives better context for the ACTH challenge.
They switched me to HC after the initial blood draw. 2 weeks later I had the ACTH challenge.
Baseline was 13 (so I more than doubled) and then rose to 20.6 at the 1 hour mark (no 30 min draw as they couldn't get a vein).
Since my ACTH was a little borderline according to some medical literature, I may not be out of the woods, but I am heartened to see that I went from 6.1 WITH prednisone to 13 without any steroids that morning.
Unfortunately, I feel like crap still as I am still tapering.
