Hello groupies,HA HA

I saw my endocrinologist yesterday. Great report. She even reduced my prednisone. I am also starting to lose weight. A glimmer of hope for all you who struggle with weight. I have been exercising and watching my carb and sugar and fat intake. Pretty much all the unhealthy stuff.

I have been trying at all those BBQ's to only have a small sample of dessert like food. Or if there are brownies and cookies to choose only one or the other and not sample both. It is just too slippery of a slope. So I guess that and the exercise is working.

So I will now be taking 6 mg of prednisone. I will have to take 4 1 mg in the am and 2 1 mg in the pm. I actually may call and ask if I can do 5 mg in the am and 1 mg in the PM. Although it is probably more sensible to take the 4 and 2.

She did warn me of the same things Denise and Kim and others on the site have cautioned when I am running a fever or vomiting or have diarrea to up my dose. So I will be cautious and still continue to get the rest I need each day.
