Okay...a couple of weeks ago, my (possible) b/f came to my house and we met. We spent 3 hrs together. He brought my possible 1/2 sis w/him.

The reason I say POSSIBLE...is b/c we did paternity testing. It was "negative". But VERY QUESTIONABLE!!! There are many family resemblances. Also..the lab we used calls it a match at 13 matches....we had 11....most labs cut off as a match at 7. Hmmmmm.....

The way I see it, I think he questions the results too, or else he wouldn't have kept in touch w/me for the past 4 yrs and made an effort to come meet me. He lives 900 miles away.

Anyway...the meeting went well. He offered alot of insight on my b/mom. I think we will remain in contact and see each other again sometime.

I think it also just doesn't matter what the test results say.

Are you planning to do paternity testing? We did...with us in different states, we contacted ptl paternity testing and did saliva swabs at local labs and it was sent to the main lab. Our tests indicate negative (whatever!). I wish we hadn't done paternity testing....since he was the one listed on birthcert. and he assumed paternity all these years (34 at the time). We just did the testing b/c he was talked into it by his children...b/c something (me) like this could change the whole family dynamics....BLAH>>> anyway...we are moving forward with our relationship at this time.

I'm not sure what we're going to do. I'm not a very rich person, so anything that is more than $50 is out of the question. I've seen an ad recently on television showing that you can buy a DNA kit and then send it in.
