MDJunction to me

peasha"This has been one of the most supportive places I have ever been. I found MDJ by mistaking looking for drs to help me with my many health issues and since that day over a year ago I have found a tight nit little family that keeps me going when the times are tough and offers me a place of retreat to share my successes and failures with others. I get to see the humor and seriousness of what I experience as well as the resources to learn about my health conditions. Thanks MDJ" (peasha)

Hi, I am new to the group and decided to stop by to say hello. I am the mom of 11. 4 bio and 7 adopted children. We adopt children who are deemed "unadoptable" by CPS due to their disability, behaviors, and/or age. My children are 24,21,17,16,15,14,11,10,9,6,&2. We are a multicultural family with disabilities such as CP, epilepsy, PTSD, FAS, SBS, drug addiction, bi-polar, blindness, tube-feeding, and a host of behavioral issues. Surprisingly enough we have a pretty well run family, and tons of love to share with each other. We never let our disabilities be our crutch, or an excuse, and I really found this support website to help deal with my drug addicted child, but am finding a whole other host of great support groups. I am excited to be here and looking forward to meeting some new people and hear their stories. =) Jenna

Hi Jenna,

It is great to see you on here wow you have your hands full! I have four kiddos 1 adopted daughter (as you stated one that CPS deemed unadoptable due to mental struggles) and three bio boys. I'm so sorry to hear about your son you are in my prayers. Our 19 year old daughter is in an abusive relationship with her girlfriend and lives in another state now it is so tough to not be able to do anything. Is your son close by? IT is very hard to watch those we love go through this because ultimately they have to want to help themselves. As a parent we want to fix it. Take care hope to talk with you soon
