adderal xr 30 mg 2 x day

I've been taking adderal xr for 4 years now. I've noticed that it does help me to finish things like painting a room or reading a book where before I would just quit in the middle because I got bored or distracted. I still have a hard time with waiting for my turn to talk because I'm so afraid I'll forget what I

was going to say. It's embarrassing.

Also I'm still very easily distracted. I think it seemed to work better when I first started.

Has anyone had a similar experience? If so, did you change prescription? I'm wondering if I should ask to change to something else.

I would talk to your doctor about your prescription and symptoms. Keep a little diary of when it seems to work the best. I am on Adderall XR which is supposed to work for 8-10 hours but peek time is only about 4 hours. I take 15mg. twice a day which is working for me so far. So, I would try to determine when it is working and for how long and then talk to your doctor.
