well my fiance and i had to go see the juvie officer today cause of kiddo escaping the house a couple of times. basically its a warning. one thing we talked about was starting a local adhd support group. if anyone has any ideas or info on how to start one. i would appreciate all the help i can get.

The easiest way to start a support group would be to ask your local library or your church if they have some space that you can use once a week or month and post fliers at local family/general and pediatric offices as well as at the library and local churches.

Pediatricians can help refer other parents to the group and over a period of a few months, you could steamroll into quite a large group!

Start with a schedule and a list of topics: one topic discussion for each meeting based on the group needs. Eventually, you may need to split into 2 groups - parents of teens and parents of younger children.
