MDJunction to me

jpcrps"When I found MD Junction, I was in the beginning stages of RSD/CRPS. I was scared, lacked knowledge about the condition, and felt very alone.

MD Junction changed all of that for me. I found friendship and terrific information from people who had first-hand knowledge of this syndrome. It was and still is a big part of my life.

MDJ was my first step on the journey of grief; from denial to acceptance. I am now inspired to help others by sharing this amazing site and sharing my own experiences. I am very impressed that one forum site can provide hope and inspiration to people suffering from so many different conditions. I am proud to be a part of this community.

OK, ive research like crazy for hours everyyyyday.

i used to be on Adderall XR 30mg, but i remember after a week it was like taking nothing, and i could feel inbetween doses and wanted to go crazy.

Now im on generic adderall instant release 20mg in the morning and another 20mg in the afternoon. Started off ok, the only side effect being axiety attacks as i came down at night. NOW a week later its HORRIBLE, i might have a good effect for like...an hour most, but the rest of the day i am so irritable and not interested in anything at all. im miserable. and deffinately cant concentrate.

I REALLY need feedback from EVERYONE on different meds or that have tried different meds. At first i wondered if i shoudl try the XR again maybe twice a day or with an instant release with it.

Then i heard about Vyvanse and that it lasted a long time but i saw alot of people had bad results with it.

Now i hear amazing things about Concerta, that it lasts all day, which is something i am trying so so so hard to find, something hopefully with no horrible come downs, and that doesnt stop working after a week.

But i wasnt on ritalin before and i think concerta is mainly for people who were? because it sounds like it works great, as far as lasting all day. But what about Vyvanse?

And anyone who has taken OTHER meds or found a way to make adderall work without the horrible come down.

ANYTHING. i dont know what to do but im sitting here miserable from the adderall.

Please if you're reading this, whatever you've taken, share your experience with me!!!

thanks so much

I take Vivanse - 140 ml a day - and, although it doesn't help much with my forgetting appointments and such, it does help me a lot with tolerating stressfully boring situations...meetings, waiting rooms, waiting in line, and so forth...I forgot to take it one day and suffered through the longest, dullest meeting ever - had to leave before it was over! I don't really feel it taking effect or wearing off - which is good - and it's slow-release, lasting about 8-12 hrs. I take one at 9 am and one at noon. Hope this helps - Jeni Cheerful

My advice is free, completely anecdotal, and comes from my own experience. Always talk to your doctor before you change anything.

try reducing your adderall to 10mg's in the morning and supplement with an energy pill with caffeine in it (i take stackers 2 - it has 250mg's). i found they supplent each other and i dont start crashing until dinner time. take the other 10mg's at lunchtime with another energy pill...so far so good, havent felt this normal in years.......i switched to the caffeine adderall combo cuz i was up the 30mgs and feeling like you do, so i started experimenting ps. i am also bipolar.

Welcome aboard daddiesgirl....I would like to say hello and I am glad that you are here to help out....You are right but before anyone should reduce their meds, they should get promission before they do so...And let me explain why...I have been there...I had reduced a med when someone told me too and it wasn't good..Anything can happen...I am not saying that you aren't right but I would strongly suggest that you check with your doctor before doing so...But Yes sometime it is the right thing to do..And supplements, can also help as well..So I do agree with you...

Again welcome aboard....

yes, i guess i shoudl clarify that my doc has given me permission to adjust my dosages based on my needs (that change daily) he gives me what he recommensds and then he gives me a threshold. normally i'm taking far less htan he prescribes so its okay, but i ALWAYS put a call in and leave a message with my med changes to he can review it and call me if he has any quesionts
