In the evening when the medication wears off, I can't sustain attention and focus on one topic which makes it hard on my husband during sex.

I used to be off topic and ramble of things during sex that completely put him off. I learned to stay quiet, but my mind wanders alot and it is in my sex life. The problem is that the Adderall has worn out by that time and if I take it so late I won't be able to sleep.

Have you tried drinking tea or supplementing with vitamins? a good herbal tea like chamomile is great for helping the mind settle

I tried vitamins as a teen and it didn't help at all. Maybe tea will help. I have some at home and I'll try. Thanks

I wish I had a helpful solution for you. Maybe explain to your husband what you are experiencing and have sex a little earlier in the evening.

The tea that was mentioned may be an option. You might also try your local health food store to see if they can recommend something.

Remember what works at one point in your life is different at another point. the brain changes constantly. Things that worked for me now didnt used to work and things that worked do not work the same way. Smile no harm in trying again and then at least you know for sure! I hope you get it figured out. i guess i always coin the 2 phrases.. try try again and keep moving forward. and remember for every success there were 100 failures!

I've had the same issue kinda. One time I was humming a tune while having sex. The person I was with was like what are you doing? Lol I have to use ambien to help with sleep and sometimes klonopin as well. You might have to talk to your husband and find better sexy times that work for both of you Smile
