I take a different med but it is also a stimulant. Am I hooked on them? I don't know. I do know that if I don't take them my symptoms are out of control and I can't get anything done or concentrate on anything. I rely on my medication to do what it is supposed to do.

I don't know what, if any, of the long term effects of any of the stimulant drugs are. I would think they would be minimal, especially with a drug like Ritalin which has been around for years and years That's just my opinion, you would do well to speak with your doctor or pharmacist.
