yes, gaining self respect is a good way to heal, and my self confidance now soars! I love who I have become, I learned alot about the world on the streets, and after i was abducted and held hostage for 5 days, I swore if I survived I would change and I almost died when I was rescued and put in the hospital but I guess that promise to myself and my strong will helped me to survive. I knew then I had a job to do and that is to help anyone who needs help recovering from substance abuse. I thank my God every day for this chance!
