Just wondering if anyone has had the both at the same time. My husband was at the radiologist office discussing his treatment options for his prostate cancer, and wanted to have him checked for acromegaly. He had a high IGF1 and they ran the test again, also came back high. Now going for a glucose test and apointment next week with endo.

Sorry about the latent response. I should have checked online sooner, but things have been crazy here. I don't know anyone that has both Acromegaly and Prostate Cancer too. I know that the supplement, testosterone gel, that my husband has to take has an increased risk of Prostate Cancer, but that's all I know about it. Sorry not to be of more help.

I remember when I was diagnosed with Acromegaly, my endo had me checked for prostate cancer also. There must be a connection there somewhere.

Get an MRI of the brain done if you haven't already. I haven't been onlin very much. Could you update us on where you're at with treatment and symptoms?
