I am thrilled that 20/20 did the story on Misophonia, but something that really irked me was that they kept pointing out that it's "very rare". Since I first heard the word "misophonia" from Kelly Ripa, I have found that this actually a LOT more common than perhaps the medical community might realize.

My heart goes out to the young lady that they interviewed. Also, makes me so grateful that my own suffering is very mild compared to others. I just wish I could get make friends and family understand.

I did see those and will probably be using them soon. Thank you.

See my recent post. The drugs paxil and prozac eliminate almost all the misophonia symptoms. The diet sugars aspartame and splenda greatly aggravate the symptoms.
