Hi, I am BluePhoenix. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 2005 after years of testing, many specialists and many misdiagnoses. I and my doctors continue on the ever-evolving path of finding the treatments and strategies that are most effective to deal with this sometimes overwhelming illness. I have learned to take each day as it comes and to realize that fibro is a constant puzzle. I continually struggle with that challenge. I love the Fibro Challenges group because we share these challenges with humor, grace and compassion with stories of our daily lives.

Hi everyone! I have been a member of mdj for almost 2 years now and it has been a Godsend for me. I have learned so many ways to deal with fibro and have made friends who truly under stand what it is like to live a life with all the many challenges of having fibro.

This place means so much to me: it’s a comfort to be amongst this fibro family, even on days when I can only muster the strength to read the posts ~ it’s a support system for when times are rough and I need to vent ~ it’s a place where I can continue to learn ways to cope ~ and it’s a place to share what’s in my heart, in my life and on my mind.

It is my fervent hope that I can help make this a place for others to gain the same comfort, support, coping skills and friendships that I have gained from fibro challenges.

Feel free to pm me any time.

Hugs and love………………

I was diagnosed with Fibro in 1998 by a rheumatologist, and was at sea as to how to cope with flares until I found MDJ and in the Fibro Challenges sg I have found the support and caring, along with so much helpful information.

I hope to help others learn how to do the same and to be a source of support that is not available anywhere else for many FMS sufferers.

I also love to make people laugh, which is a powerful medicine for chronic pain. :D

My name is Christine and I have been married to my best friend for almost 39 years. He is my rock, and I am very blessed to have such a wonderful husband. He is very supportive, caring and loving. We have two sons and they are both married to wonderful women. On October 28th we became grandparents to a beautiful, precious little girl whose name is Lindsey. She is the love of our lives. She is just what the doctor ordered for me, and she really looks like the spitting image of her daddy.

I have been diagnosed with fibro for many years. It can be quite a challenge, but I stay as positive as I can, and all the members of this group are the best thing that could have ever happened to me. They are very understanding, supportive, caring and loving. You will gain many new friends when you join our group. We are here to support you and that is exactly what we will do.
