There are verious reasons as to why we 'just cant be organized'. True, this may be just another inborn trait. But if we do want to break that taboo and develop new habits we need to understand that the barriers that stand between our good will and its successful results, are our subconcious voices that lie to us and are based on wrong assumptions and believes: 1. Its neither or all (Im not gona finish it anyway, so why start?) 2. I do not deserve a clean and organized environment 3. I can do it later 4. One plus one equals one (its messy anyway, one more thing wont matter). 5. i can do it later 6. It must be 100 % clean 7. I am a failure if i cant keep my house clean. 8. i have always been this way. I'm never gonna change.
We have to reset our mind and reprogram it with positive thoughts. I am good. I deserve to live happyly and peacefully. I deserve to enjoy cleanliness and order. I can live peacefully if my house is not perfectly clean. Every item makes a difference, if the room is messy, I will make sure to not make it worse by adding more items. I can get used to put away things right away. I know changing is time and efforts consuming. It may take a long while to see results. Take small and very easy goals and practice it for a month. After that it will come to you as a second nature. For example- decide to keep the dining table completely clear of items. Or, the couch, or one counter. You may want to decide on 10 minute clean-up every morning. Take something you dont do now, but you know it will come easy for you. Many poeple dont know, but the key for success is mini steps. Slowly maturally. Safe enough to not fall, good enough to taste success. Remember that success leads to success.
