I am a Mother of a 27 year old daughter who has Rheumatoid Arthritis and Mythenia Gravis. She takes Mestonin medicine every day and has for the past 4 years.

She is doing fantastic now that she takes only a certain brand of Mestonin that is found at only one pharmacy in Topeka, way out where the higher income people live. The generic brand doesn't work for her.

Previously I wrote about how her diseased progressed after her 4th child was born.
Well, she is very active again now and works full-time plus overtime as a nurse.

Her 4 kids are all very healthy and so very happy their Mom is active again.

It is a good thing we didn't give up.

Word of warning if you take Mestonin, get the real thing, don't cut corners on this drug, pay a little more and you will realize the difference it will make in your daily life. My daughter says she only buys Global's Mestonin now.

Another word of warning, Don't gamble with the new drugs that are only being researched like she did. The risks are very high and far outweigh the benefits, the set back which can be life threatening for a person with MG.

When I first joinedThe disease has progressed now where she can no longer take care of herself and I can not find any resources to help her. She has no medical insurance and her friends and familybuy her Mestonin for her. She takes only half what she should because she trys to make it last. She can not use her arms or legs without her medicine.
