No Arms, No Legs, No Worries

Nov 09 2010

My friend was telling me how she was in a great deal of pain, by the end of her sentence, she was telling me she is grateful for what she does have. I told her she reminded me of a wonderful quote:

"I Cried because I had no shoes, then I met a man with no feet."

This man is awesome. There are three videos that always helps me put my life into perspective, not saying my pain doesn't count, but just to remember that there is always something to be grateful about :)

I saw him speaking to a middle school & he's amazing! Really helped with some perspective issues of mine.

That's the good thing about keeping an open mind about things in life. There's always someone that is worse off than I am. If I could take just a portion of everyone I meet's pain away & lessen their suffering, a blessing would surely come. Good topic! Thanks.

I saw Nick at the Harvest Crusade in Angel's Stadium a few years ago! What an inspiration!
