Good Day turn bad.

Apr 15 2008
My morning was good, got plenty accomplished today.  Organized my pantry, organized my daughter's play area, even did a couple of loads of laundry plus the dishes.  Went to my daughter softballgame and that's when it hit.  Back pain, knee pain, neck pain, swollen left wrist that I can't even hold a pot now even if I wanted to wash it.  And the messed up thing is I know I'll probably be out of commission for a couple of days.  But how can I not go to the games?  Just to see their faces makes all the pain I go through worth while.  I would go through more of it if it meant that I could still be part of their lives.  And as long as I'm here even if the have to wheel me in in a stretcher I'll be there.

Hi, you are truly a blessing. Just to know that someone is going through pain and instead of complaining about it you're enduring it for your kids sake. Keep your head up and if you are a spiritual person continue to pray. God Bless you.
Enjoyed you post!

Found humor in your post about not being about to hold a pot. For years, I've volunteered to do dishes, the warm water make my hands feel better. My family thinks I'm crazy not using the dishwasher, but you have to take your blessing where you can find them. Mine is with the dishes!
How to live even through the pain.

I have a parafin wax machine. It is fantastic for soothing your hands and feet too! I know it is so frustrating not being able to keep your home clean (ie doing the dishes) and being a part of our children's lives. I couldn't bring my daughter to a b.day party on Sunday because my husband was traveling, so I had a friend whose daughter was going pick her up and bring her home. But I do try to be involved as much as I can even if it means letting the house go undone. Balance will come in time. When I don't know, but I know God will reveal that in His time not mine!! smilies/wink.gif
