TOOK MY FIRST STRESS TEST TODAY. LOL I have been so stressed about the stress!! lolol With my lung disease and the degenerative arthritis in my spine, I am only able to walk about 10 feet before I must sit down to relieve the pain and catch my breath. I had recieved by mail some forms about the test and it said I should wear comfy clothes because I would be walking on the tread mill.....So when I get to the hosp I am thinking the worst. Well, guess what???? NO TREADMILL!! lol My doc had let them know about my physical disabilities and so they did it the EASY?????? way. lol Gave me a drug to race my pulse. Doctor was in the rooma t all times. Normal pulse is 60. They had to get mine up to 138 and thenback to 88 before I could leave the room. They said I may feel heart palpatations and some chest pain....I FELT NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!They did all kinds of EKG's...laying on my back, on my tummy sitting, standing.........all things I don't usually do, BUT NO TREAD MILL so I was very happy. The whole ordeal, however, took 4 hours!!! It really wore me out. The doc said he didn't know for sure, cause he hadn't looked at all the test results, but from what he could see, he didn't think I have any blocked arteries....THANK GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I see my primary doc on Friday for the full report. 2 weeks ago she started me on a blood pressure pill & that is also why I had to do the stress test. ( Very high blood pressure). Well since I hace been taking the new pill.........# 20 in each day....my BP has been great. OK, better go, need to sleep after the stress of the stress. lol

Bless you,
Ms. Jessie
