MDJunction to me

sarahtroy"There's a special place in my heart for MDJ's Bipolars dealing with Alcoholism support group. As an alcoholic in recovery, it is my safe harbor. I draw strength and hope from our Bipolar alcoholics and addicts who bravely share their experiences and courageously face our common demons. This is a special, close and safe group to explore any alcohol or drug issues. I have made many dear friends and been sustained by the love and acceptance so freely offered." (sarahtroy)

Merry Christmas!

Dec 24 2011

I'm leaving for Portland in a bit so I'll make this quick...

I've started my Mestinon therapy and I forgot how sensitive I am to it. My face was twitching like you wouldn't believe. But my eyes were not droopy at all and there were no signs of my double vision after a long day. I hope it keeps working like that. Instead of taking half a tablet every 4ish hours, I had to cut back and take 1/4 tablet every 4 hours. Just to get my body used to the meds again.

My CT scan is next Thursday and I'm nervous. I want good news and not to find out that I have to have surgery again. It's awful. 6 weeks without being able to pay bills will be hard. But my mom said she would fly out to me and help me in every way possible. I love her to death!

I'm doing well so far. Just have to be better at taking my meds. In the past I always forgot... silly child! But if I want to work, then I have to listen to directions I suppose.

But I have to get going. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and hope you all get by smoothly!
