MDJunction to me

Peace77"Mdj to me is a place a can visit to talk to anyone while going through a hard time with depression.
I have learned so much from others and I'm grateful to all my special friends here. It truly is a place you can talk to people, and you will never be treated negatively. I have found only, caring and kind support here. Thank you Mdj for a place I call my home, when I need to get away from my life..and have unbiased support..

rockwell40 What you have to go thru to get correctly dx'd. Days to weeks to months to years. Could death be any worst? Just my documentation of my experiences with finding out what's wrong and how to live with it.
Just my day to day existence be it dealing with Lupus, worker's compensation or family issues. See how my life can deal with that

I am so exhausted, I just want answers!!!!!!

Mar 18 2011

I have gone to the Doctors every day this week.  G.I., Dermatologist, Hematologist and Sleep Disorder Center 2morrow, and next Wednesday the PCP.  I am so frustrated right now I could justkill (figurtivily)  someone. Each Dr is passing the buck "well let's see what the other doctors say" or Well I see that the PCP said it was such and such and each dr will concer until told otherwise.  Hematologist ruled out cancer, polymyalgiarheumatica,  Porphyria (some blood disorder).  That is good news.  But what the hell is wrong with me.  I'm the needle in the haystack.  I am so tired of the pain, aches, migrianes, swollen joints, fatigue and aniexty. How do people go thru years of this crap before a DX can be made.  The hematologist also thought that it wasn't lupus mainly because ANA was negative this time, last time it was positive. PCP won't refer to a Rheumatologist.  I'm going to ask again when I see her next week.

My mother is here and she is trying so hard and I so appreciate it especially at the doctors office, but at home I am having a hard time becuz I am used to my private space. But it's going good.

My positive for the day: Reduce cable/computer bill and more stations to watch. So I get to watch OWN and Army Wives.

Good nite all

Hi Rockwell. You just have to be strong and DEMAND a referral to see a rheumatologist, given that you have tested positive to ANA in the past, and that lupus could still occur in ANA negative persons.
