How fun?

So my best friend from high school is pregnant, and she needed someone to fill in on her softball team for the next few seasons.  She asked me and I was thrilled to accept.  I played 13 yearsof competetive softball starting when I was 8.  I stopped playing when I had no other option but to play slow pitch.  I was too disciplined in the competetive leagues that when I saw people drinking during a game it really didn't set well with me.  I was also very young and was probably more mad that I wasn't old enough to drink.  This team seems to be pretty nice.  The guys are cool, and my best friend is the team "mom" so it is fun.  The girls on the team are really nice, and we all seem to work together relatively well given that this was our first game of the season and many of us have never played together, even practice.  I had fun when I fell, and we all laughed a lot.  It was fun to not really care about winning, but about doing well.  The field where we play is beautiful and at the foot of some gorgeous mountains.  I made an outfield fly out.  It was funny, bc my best friend's husband said he liked the catch, the first one and the second one.  The ball went really high up and it can be hard to gauge where the ball is really going, but when I caught the ball it didn't fall into the pocket of my glove and it bounced out.  However, I still caught it bc my other hand was right there.  I was pretty happy for that.  Anyway, that was a fun game.  We have games every week, so it will be fun.
