MDJunction to me

scotty04901"MDJ to me is an added phase in my recovery as a 44 year survivor of a TBI. I hope that with what I have lived through in those years, will be able to help all those who are just now going through. It is important to understand that even after 44 yrs, I am continuing to recover and to evolve. I just hope I can help others." (scotty04901)

Can this get any better soon? Pur lease...

Apr 19 2010

Well, I haven't found a new job yet, and the attorney consultations did not turn out that good.  It turned out "It's ok to yell and get upset.  If he [the boss] only yells at onegender group or one ethnic, then that's bad business practice." Otherwise, his yelling and using of tactic words are ok.  I'm shock to learn this.  Anyhow, I don't have a case or not strong enough for the attorneys to want representing me.  Whateva....

About job searching, all the jobs offered me are less pay, further distance, more responsibilities/stress.  Why would I want jobs like that eventhough it might be in better work environment?

Exercising has not been good.  The last time I said I'll go soak in the pool at YMCA, I did but the pool was cooler than 82 degrees.  It felt more like 70 instead.  Too cold for me.  I got chills and then got fibro flare up.  :-(  Although I was not going to the gym as often as I wanted, I managed to exceed my target sets so on Sunday, I asked one of the staff members there to increase my sets for my program and also add two more exercises to the program.

I have an upper endoscopy tomorrow and will need to pay 500 for annual deductible & 500 for facility copay.  Earlier today, I checked my insurance claim online and found the MRI claim, which patient's responsibility protion is 315.69.  Thus, that'll be 1,315.69 out of pocket that I'll have to pay.  Well, the good news is I will get a refund from Fed Tax of 1.5K.  That will cover the 1.3+K, leaving just a few hundred left.

Last Friday, I was eager to use that Fed Tax refund for taking a mini short vacation; either that or put the whole amount into IRA/Roth IRA.  Well, guess what.  Mid of next month, I have an appt. to do a liver biopsy, which there will be another 500 copay.  Arg craps.... there goes the mini vacation, so goes the saving into IRA/Roth IRA. Sheesh...
