The Korean Doc! |

So off I went to the closet big city of Andong thankfully only 35 min on buss and i was there. This was my first Korean endocrinologist and was super nervy. Thank goodness she spoke English and jumpedinto action asap. Listen to my symptoms and said this is not good and put me on prednisone 15mg mornings and 15mg at night. She did explain that this is very high and that it is only temp, until i return for my blood results on Tuesday 23th Aug. Even though the rest of the staff did not understand me they were unbelievably kind and sympathetic to the way I was feeling. After the blood work was done, they gave me a saline and cortizone drip for 45min and I was sent home with strict intructions on what to do and what not to do, when to take my pills and who to call incase of emergancy.
I am leaving today for some island time and plan to nothing but lye on the beach (with sun screen of course) and do as little as possible. Lets just hope and prey I do not swell up to much from this as the largest pants size in Korea for ladies is a 30 and I just just squeeze into that as it is!
So lets hope this bumpy ride has slowed down and will be flat from now on!
