umakemesmile A day in the life.....

whoops! a whole month has passed!

Apr 06 2011

What have I been doing you ask? NOTHING. well something, but nothing too exciting.

I did go to Las Vegas the beginning of March, thanks to a great friend who paid my way! It definitely was themost fun I have had in a loooong time.

There were also a few memorials in the month of March. All very sad. 2 very young people, and a good friend about my age. All were suicides. This just makes me wonder...I always thought it was after xmas that was the "hard" time, not spring. I guess we all have our demons to fight.

I am going to be starting up my own business-At Home America. I'm  excited about it! I LOVE all the items they have!

well I better get going it is my bedtime!

Take Care!

OMgosh, I got so "busy" I forgot about MDJunction! Or, maybe it was my strokes that made me forget!
I don't think anything exciting happened the past year...except the last month or so....
My prosthetic has managed to come off a couple of times now. The peg on the sleeve came undone. Imagine taking a step and realizing there is no leg there!
I had my prosthetist lengthen my leg because I felt like it was too short. Now I have managed to "trip" over it twice...spaining my elbows! I swear I broke my right elbow. Tomorrow I am going to see my prosthetist to have him shorten it!
Last moth I had aCT scan done as in another there was an "incidental" finding on a previous one. There were a few nodules....so I had to see a pulmonologist. talk about scary! But in the end it all was good. Just CT scans every 6 months for 2 years.Hmmmmmmmmm...I wonder if I am supposed to set them up?
I am taking online courses now...trying to get my BA in health administration. This keeps me quit busy!
Our last kid is graduating the last of June! Yay! Empty nest syndrome here I come!
I think that is all for now. I hope I don't wait another year to do this!
