Trying to Return to the Old Me

Not long ago, I was the calm, confident woman at work and now I'm a blubbery mess, depressed and in love with a Bipolar Man

Had My Tooth Fixed

Nov 02 2011
I had a broken front tooth and my bipolar S.O kept trying to get me to the dentist.  I was scared since I hadn't been to one in years.  He finally phoned his friend who is a dentist and made an appointment for me.  At first, I was upset and thought this is way too much.  But I went to see the dentist, fearing the cost because I have zero insurance. The dentist was a really nice man and did a great job on my tooth. When I went out to pay for it, I found out my S.O already did, paid for my x-rays too.  I was overwhelmed. Yeah, my S.O gets cranky or angry or really blunt but other times, he is so nice to me that I feel like crying. Whether this works or not, I'll always remember what he did. He knew I hated to smile. I'm trying hard to work with him because I'm proud of his goiing to AA every day and proud of his acts of kindness and not just to me. I think right now I want to learn to embrace his idiosyncracies and support him despite everyone's urging me to run from him.

It was very nice of him to pay for your dental work. I hope you have many more opportunities to smile now. Good luck with your relationship, take care of yourself first and foremost.
