tired and gaining weight!

I went on holidays this past July, took extra Cortef in case of stress. Took it too long and put on 10lbs! I didn't know that you should only take it no longer than 3 days. This is now November, can't take it off, and always hungry! Dr adjusted dosage lower because my cortisol levels were too high. I feel better now, but no sign of losing any weight! I have never had to worry about my weight since I got this disease. Anyone else put on weight! Im always hungry and getting frustrated!

anesthetic and Addison's, no problem!

for those that have followed my colonoscopy proceedure updates, going under anesthetic was a worry for me! I was praying it wouldn't cause an Addison's crisis during or after. I doubled my dailydosage on proceedure day and day after and had no problems at all. I was a bit tired the next day but not lethargic. It feels good to know that I can have an operation etc. and still be ok. thank goodness for pharmacists!
