Thinking about getting induced?

Sep 07 2010
Ill be 37 weeks on Monday, and Rich gets back in 10 days [YAY!] so i was thinking about getting induced on one of the weekends that hes here, that way he can be there for sure. But I heard there is a high risk for complications with that? Idk. Im scared. lol.

I thought they couldn't induce you to get him out?! Anyways! If your cervix is ripe and you've already started to dilate on your own then it's fine, and most likely go normal (but you're still at higher risk to get a c-section), but if you haven't really started at all (like still pretty hard cervix, and less than 2cm dilated) then I there is a REALLY likely chance you'll end up with a c-section.

I see. Yeah, we decided not to because im not dilated yet, and we dont want him to come out when hes not ready, unless im past 40 weeks, lol. I guess I just have to be patient!
