This is hard.

This is just my random sounding board about my wife and our struggles with her bipolar.

Isolation

Jul 06 2011
I wasn't prepared for the isolation that I would experience. I no longer feel that I have any friends. I can't really blame them. I understand that it must be awkward for them some times. Theydon't know enough about bi-polar, so they just think it's a different kind of crazy. They don't call us to hang out any more. I guess they can only handle cancelled plans for so long. We used to make plans, then Heather(my wife) would have an 'episode' and we'd have to cancel. It did get difficult making excuses for her. But I just feel so damn alone....
