Rock Bottom

Jun 05 2012
The good thing about hitting Rock bottom is that I know this is the worst things can get. The bad thing about it, is that I'm struggling to even want to get out of this state, it feels like I'm on the verge of giving up..this pain is awful and its making me so miserable, I'm trying to stay strong and throughout the past three years with this pain I have done exactly that, but I just don't think I have enough strength left in me to keep going, I feel physically and emotionally exhausted.

Please keep on keeping on as You are special as is your life, okay! Lean on this batgirl anytime, too!! You will find a way through this even though it does not seem like it right now- your rainbow blessings do await you- there is hope on the horizon, so hold on as you never know when the tide will turn in your favour!!

Please read these books as they will encourage you:- Things Get Better- Katie Piper( she had acid thrown in her face by a jealous ex boyfriend and was horrendously burned in a vicious attack that left her deeply scarred as well as facing many operations , yet, now she is a motivational speaker, an author, a survivor as well as a very brave young lady)- one of my heroes as well as a fellow British courageous lady ,and, 'Still Me'- by the late great Christopher Reeve. You may also like the book Why Bad Things Happen To Good People- by Rabbi Harold S Kushner.

You are stronger than you realise, truly!! You just need to tap into this inner strength that you have as well as to get strength from those around You including being inspired by those who have been on a super tough journey/travelling a super tough journey yet finding ways to be upbeat!!

You can do this!!

Am a wounded warrior- a fibromite who lives with often high to sky high pains, pains mostly moderate yet also never had a painfree zero pains plus low pain moments have been rare/short lived, every moment ever since fibro hit my life- on a minute by minute, hourly, daily basis(each day of every week of every month for 15 years), yet am mostly upbeat!! Have worked on this though- it is not easy- become my own life coach!!

Am here if you need me- lean on me, okay!

Yet, never ever ever give up on hope or on You!!!!!

Hoping you will find relief, comfort, strength, peace plus much hope as well as much loving kindness and may you seek the inner hero within You, may it be so!!

Super gentle soothing hugs, love Clarita :-)

I hope one day I can become as strong as you. I shall lean on you and you can lean on me, together we'll give each other the strength we both need smilies/smiley.gif

Hello Dragongirl19,

I know that this IBS is a painful and frustrating thing. IBS affects everyone differently...so it's a trial & error thing. You will with time learn to recognize triggers (food, drinks etc) avoid those things. For pain, use heat and low impact exercises. It takes time so give yourself a break. You'll learn as you go on. You can do it..be strong and believe in yourself. Remember...you are NOT alone. We are here for you. Keep us posted.

Hugs,
Kathleen
