I went to the doctor today about my recent bout of headaches and found out they were caused by something called Trigeminal Neuralgia. Big words, LOL.
Trigeminal neuralgia is a condition of recurring pain on one side of the face due to a malfunction of one or more of the three branches of the trigeminal nerve. So basically a broken nerve is causing my never ending headache, YAY!!
I'm just glad I know what's causing it - I usually get "we'll do a bunch of tests and see..." But my doc asked a bunch of questions, gave me an examination and told me what was wrong. That's it. I love my new family doctor!!
But anyway, I have to take these pills for a few months and see if it works. I have a LOT of neurological issues and they're adding up all the time. I just added two more so far in 2008.
Well that is all for now :)
