MS symptoms on ENBREL |
Dec 06 2009 |
i am having MS type symptoms. something called "Ataxia". i have also been having terrible migraines. it could be from the Enbrel or a B-12 deficiency. let's pray that it's something that is fixable by stopping a medication and not from multiple sclerosis.
what has been happening is, if i get up too fast, it's like my legs don't work in sync with my brain. my body seems drunk even though my head is clear. i almost fall over and lose my balance and i find it hard to talk. it seems to be worse if i am woke up from sleep and have to get up fast to answer the door or something. this morning it happened when i was woken up by the cat knocking over my drink. i fell over multiple times while cleaning it up.
my rheumatologist told me that Enbrel could trigger MS, if i was already going to diagnosed with it. she said it would just make it happen sooner. but i read also that Enbrel can cause symptoms like Ataxia and vertigo. so let's hope it's just a side effect. i have an appointment with a neurologist next week.
has anyone else had weird side effects like this from Enbrel or other biologic drugs?
